The video shows that Kentucky is pushing not only through intense practices, but also to enjoy the time to be on the ground, bowling alley at Red River Gorge. Head coach Mark Pope underlined the meaning of the work, saying: “This journey through the hard one is special.” He reminded players of the Kentucky standard, adding: “If you wear this jersey, it means that you are walking in a different standard. When you come to Kentucky, it’s not only we for which you play, we play for a whole nation.”
The players echo this message. Otega Oweh noted: “This team becomes a force with which it is necessary to count.” Kam Williams has thought about the identity of the program: “The coach Pope always emphasizes everything we do must be Kentucky. We can either be an average team or we can be the Kentucky team. ”
Williams also recalled that the team met a young woman whose dream was to meet the Wildcats. “We are playing for her this season,” he said, which recalls that Kentucky basketball is extending far beyond the field.
