Wisconsin basketball spent a short time after the 2024-25 season concluded before paying attention. At the age of today university basketball, this means targeted transfer recruitment efforts to recharge the list both for the coming season and beyond.

The badgers did exactly that, now at the start of two full weeks in the 2025 transfer window. They started with a commitment from the old Guard of Virginie Andrew Rohde April 3, then followed with one of Portland Forward Austin Rapp Two days later.

Rohde and Rapp enter the program at different stages of their university career. Rohde is a senior with an experience in St. Thomas and Virginia, while Rapp has just burst in the first year in Portland last season. Both, however, bring a similar profile of the range of badgers: versatile score and high -end 3 -point shooting. Rohde pulled 41% compared to 3 last season in Virginia, as well as averages per match of 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Rapp, on the other hand, led the West Coast conference in all relevant 3 -point shooting statistics, making 83 of the 236 attempts for a 35%clip.

The two transfers are planning as key key parts in the Wisconsin 2025-26. Assuming John Blackwell withdraws from the NBA project Before the deadline of June 15, he and Nolan Winter are back as the main contributors to this range.

Aside from the projection of the 2025-26 range, the transfer class of two people from Wisconsin increases in the national 247sports ranking, the two players after the threshold of first-rate transfer recruits. For more, this is where this transfer class at this early stage of the cycle is located.
