There is a short window for the golf course in the west of the Pennsylvania, but a 6th grade found a way to put a club on every day. And all this practice has set it up to return to the masters’ homes to compete.

“I think his story is that by Grace, he received a gift, and that’s what you make with this gift,” said TJ Ameredes.

At 12, Niko Ameredes already knows what he wants to be when he grew up.

“I want to be a golfer,” said Niko Ameredes. “A Golfer PGA Tour.”

At 2 years old, he was driving in the cart with his father.

“At the age of 6, he even drew around 100 to 150 meters,” said all.

So, at 6, he started to compete.

“My first victory was probably US Kids Local Tour, but my first big victory was probably the Ohio State,” said Niko.

And then, an accomplishment a few decades of waiting.

“Hit the five iron,” said Niko. “He struck just above the spindle. Back. It seemed that it came out of the green. Then he went into the hole. I jumped around, then I said it was time. Then I started to cry a little.”

He even recently played in a tournament with a broken hand.

“I broke my hand in the middle of a golf tour yes, and I played with it,” said Niko.

Quintep -month rapid advance, and he will participate on April 6 in the Drive, Chip & Putt championship at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia before the Masters. He also qualified in 2022.

“It was very exciting to call my husband and say that we are going back,” said Samantha Ameredes.

“Augusta,” said Niko. “It’s going to be fabulous.”

“The competitive golf course is high pressure,” said all. “So when we have finished his tournaments, we make sure he has the ability to decompress and do things that a 12 -year -old child would like to do.”

But for Niko, golf is what this 12 -year -old child wants to do.

“I love sport,” said Niko. “It’s so fun.”

“He is the first to jump from the car,” said Nevillewood Head Golf Professional Cory Livingston club. “And then, he is the last where his father is like” come on, we were able to enter “and he always beats balls. The number of balls he strikes during his training sessions is quite incredible, but they all mean something.”

“He trains seven days a week,” said Samantha. “He usually drags my husband in Nevillewood when it’s good or the dome of RMU. They stop anywhere and everywhere to hit the balls.”

“It’s incredible how kind people have been,” said all. “As they were nice. Members coming to him and speaking to him directly, congratulating him to the leader of Livingston, to our instructor here, Kevin Shields. And how much they kissed the journey on which he is. ”

At the US Open in Oakmont in June, Niko’s mother, Samantha, volunteered on hole 9 for their original club, Nevillewood. Niko will be in a golf camp in Wake Forest for the week, but plans to be there for the weekend championship rounds.

“He will have the ability to look at a major in his backyard in Pittsburgh,” said all. “Oakmont himself does a fabulous job. I went to the opening there.
