NBC Sports Boston to present an entirely feminine broadcast for net Celtics celebrating the month of women’s history Originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

NBC Sports Boston is again associated with the Celtics of Connecticut Sun and Boston this year to produce its second entirely female television in honor of the month of women’s history when Boston welcomes Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden on Tuesday, March 18.

NBC Sports Boston’s Celtics Reporter Abby Chin Will be a game advertiser by game and will be joined by a renowned sports editor and author Jackie MacMullanas well as the Connecticut Solar Guard Diamond Deshields As an analysts for live coverage.

She worked at Boston Globe for 19 years as a columnist, journalist and associate editor. She was the first full -time sports columnist in the history of the newspaper.

MacMullan also worked as a senior writer for Sports Illustrated from 1995 to 2000 covering the National Basketball Association.

She has won numerous national writing prizes for sports publishers of Associated Press, including first place for investigation reports, the writing of features and, in 2018, for special projects. MacMullan was inducted at the National Sportswriters Association (NSMA) fame in June 2022. Kayla Burton (@ Kay_breezy22) joined NBC Sports Boston in 2024 after having worked for ESPN as a journalist on the touchline of university football. Kayla also spent two years at NFL Media, where she played a multi-palate-form role in NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL application. Ashley Battle (@The_batt_zone) is a scout for the Boston Celtics and deputy director general of the team’s G subsidiary of the team, the Maine Celtics. She played five seasons for Uconn from 2000 to 2005, winning three national championships (2002, 2003 and 2004) and winning the honors of the defensive player of the year of Big East in 2003.
