After some speculations After the amazing loss of Minnesota in the NCAA tournament, Oliver Moore and Sam Rinzel come to Chicago.

Everyone has signed an entry-level contract of three years with a ceiling of $ 950,000 and will start their pro-hockey careers. Moore and Rinzel will immediately join the Blackhawks.

It’s great for the Blackhawks because they were both willing to finish the agreement in a few days after being eliminated. Now they will make their NHL debut some time before the end of the season.

Moore, an attacker, brings speed and skills to any team for which he plays and should see a substantive role to start his NHL career.

As for Sam Rinzel, he is a minimum number two defender who could flourish in a star. With Artyom Levshunov, Alex Vlasic and others in the mixture, the Blackhawks have a special group developing on the back-end.

These two guys have set up large figures in Minnesota this season. Moore scored 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points in 38 games. Rinzel scored 10 goals and 21 assists for 31 points in 39 games for the Golden Gophers.

Everyone was part of the team of the American gold medal team of the World World Championship 2024. Moore won consecutive gold medals because they also won it with them in 2023. They suffered victories and heartbreaking defeats. Everyone is good for their development. Now it’s time for NHL.

It is unlikely that they will both spend all 2025-26 season in the NHL, because the AHL will also be used for development. This method served the Blackhawks well with a large part of their best recent hopes. However, they can only skate in the NHL to finish this year.

The next Chicago match comes against Utah Hockey Club Sunday afternoon at the United Center. We will see if it is their first opportunity to jump into the programming.
