What is the Eisenhower Cup and who is playing this year at Indian Wells this year?

Professional tennis is trying to seize all occasions to react with a playing surface and a place before getting on the field in a match that really counts. Some of the best players in the world will have this opportunity in the Eisenhower Cup on Tuesday evening in Indian Wells.

Eight men and eight women, including four previous champions at the BNP Paribas Open, will participate in a format of tens in a mixed double, with profits ranging to local charities.

The main draw by BNP Paribas Open takes place from March 4 to 16 at the Wells Indian tennis garden.

Here are five things to know before leaving or looking at the Eisenhower Cup on the tennis channel:

What is this?

The fast rhythm event will include first to ten -point break in a draw with eight elimination teams, with a total of seven games during the evening.

  • Casper Ruud (Norway) + twice BNP Paribas Maria Sakkari’s Open finalist (Greece)

  • 2021 BNP Paribas Open Champion Paula Badosa (Spain) + Stefanos Tsisipas of 11th (Greece)

  • Alex de Minaur de eighth (Australia) + Katie Boulter, 25th (Great Britain)

  • The Open BNP Champion Paribas twice Iga świątek (Poland) + Herbert Hurkacz (Poland), 20th, is ranked 20th (Poland).

  • Jasmine Paolini (Italy) + Lorenzo Musetti (Italy), 17th classified, is classified in fourth row (Italy)
