Football teams often have to deal with sudden changes, but going from Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum to Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards to Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards (question mark) means there’s little known production at running back position for Michigan football. 2025.

Although Ben Hall and Jordan Marshall are expected to be among those carrying the rock this upcoming season, the Wolverines have asked for outside help. And they got it — ironically on the part of the team that plays next — Alabama.

On Friday, December 13, Alabama running back Justice Haynes, coming off his sophomore season, entered the transfer portal, much to the horror of Tuscaloosa fans. However Georgia And Ohio State considered involved, Michigan ended up struggling against South Carolina, ultimately it was Haynes’ relationship with running backs coach Tony Alford that played a role, as he came close to commit to the Wolverines instead, according to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.
