Emma Raducanu is preparing to return to tennis soon, and it’s a happy time for her because it’s what she loves doing the most.

Raducanu has always been a very active person, so this injury comeback has been quite tough for her. Besides the obvious, she’s just had a hard time finding interesting things to do, since most of the interesting things she does are usually very active things.

She’s not used to sedentary activities, but it was necessary immediately after her surgeries because she had a triple operation, so recovery was never going to be that quick.

She did her best and, in a recent interview, revealed what she had been up to during this time away from the tennis courts, as the 20-year-old played her final match on the WTA Tour in April, when She lost to Jelena Ostapenko at the 2023 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

It was difficult to train after surgeries, so it was very sedentary at first. During this whole period, I did a lot of things off the court, I read a lot and mentally, I watched tennis. Mentally, I feel like I’m in a better position to compete now than I have ever been since the US Open.

Raducanu on his return from injury

Her return to Australia has already attracted a lot of attention, even though she is yet to return to a tennis court. Raducanu is very popular and has certainly always been the topic of discussion in tennis since winning the US Open a few years ago.

We’ll see what happens once she finally returns, but expectations are high. She had plenty of time to get her body back in order. She had time to really get her head straight and sort of digest the whirlwind that her career has been since the US Open.
