One of the biggest questions facing the Seattle Seahawks in their offseason quest to maintain a Super Bowl-winning team is what the team decides to do at running back.
While a decision for Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III seems important, it appears they will have more clarity on Zach Charbonnet shortly after he announced on Instagram that he had surgery for his torn ACL on Friday. The Seahawks’ power-rushing running back duo Charbonnet has racked up 730 rushing yards and a team-leading 12 touchdowns on 184 attempts in 2025.

A second-round pick out of UCLA, Charbonnet, has been a staple of the Seahawks backfield over his three years, with his role steadily increasing over time. He has been a model of consistency, averaging about four yards per carry each year, and has been a reliable presence as a pass blocker when needed.
