Here are the latest news and possible return dates to Yankees Players …

February 19, 3:45 p.m.

All hope of Giancarlo Stanton Appearing in the programming of the opening day decreases day by day. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that the veteran Slugger, who is dealing with tendonitis in both elbows, has no calendar to resume baseball activities.

The news of Stanton’s injuries was revealed one day before the first training session of the Yankees camp, when Boone noted that Stanton was “a little behind” in its rise in power due to elbow pain that goes back to the Last season. Boone also underlined the precaution.

Stanton finally offered an overview on Monday, admitting that he hasn’t swung a bat for almost a month due to the “very high” pain in the two elbows. Although injuries are a matter of pain tolerance – he prospered in 2024 in the playoffs despite discomfort – he also expressed his certainty during an appearance of the opening day.

February 16, 2:13 p.m.

When the Yankees hold their first full training in the spring camp on Monday, their designated veteran striker will not participate in full health.

While talking to journalists on Sunday, director Aaron Boone revealed that Slugger Giancarlo Stanton is “a little late” in its rise in power due to the discomfort in the two elbows which dates back to last season, and its current status for the opening day is “difficult to say”.

“The two elbows, really similar to the elbow of tennis, which he kept and played in a way, especially in the second semester,” said Boone. “We want to make sure to give this so much time, so we will probably play it a little … It’s just something that we don’t want to rush if we can get to a very good place, and know that we Probably will have to deal with a little maintenance with him throughout the year.

The Yankees did not go exactly last season, the expectations that Stanton was an essential contributor, but the team would not have reached its first world series since 2009 without the production of 35 years in marble. He mainly brought the alignment in October, reaching. 273 with seven circuits, 16 products produced and nine points in 14 games in the playoffs. He also received the honors of the MVP Alcs.

It is not at all surprising that Stanton already has nursing injuries. Since he joined the Yankees in 2018, he only played up to 130 regular season games than twice. Last year, he spent five weeks on the list of injured as a result of a problem with the hamstrings.

Boone also noted that the outfall Trent Grisham Pulled hamstrings a few weeks ago, but is not “too far behind” in his return to complete baseball activities.
