Fresh off an O’Reilly Auto Parts Series championship, Jesse Love returns to the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals after a year-long hiatus driving a car with another NASCAR connection, as it will be fielded by Cup Series crew chief Blake Harris.
2nd Opinion Auto Center Racing, owned by Dan and Patricia Harris, has fielded Midgets at the Tulsa Expo for more than a decade and the Blake-owned car is part of a larger organizational effort that includes Matt Sherrell, Luke Storer, Tanner Berryhill and Jeb Sessums.

But this No. 2 will be an effort led by recently crowned Xfinity Series champion and race-winning crew chief Hendrick Motorsports.

For his part, Love is no stranger to building or midget racing in general as he has made three appearances with overall placings of B13, D17 and E14.
He has victories in the Xtreme Outlaw National Midget Series, POWRi West and owns the USAC record at Gas City I-69 Speedway. It was in this discipline that he spent his formative years before moving on to Late Models and the national NASCAR tours.
