Wolves head coach Rob Edwards decided to shine the spotlight on Jørgen Strand Larsen (25), helping the striker through a difficult period after a mixed reaction from the Molineux crowd tested both confidence and determination.
Strand Larsen had a difficult run in front of goal, and the response from the stands reflected growing frustration. Still, Edwards was keen to highlight the unpublished work, describing a player who remains engaged and respected behind the scenes.

“It’s difficult for him, but he fights” Edwards said, transcribed by Aerial sports. “He’s really good here, he works hard. The Wolves boss added that members of the coaching staff have offered their support, reinforcing the belief that perseverance, rather than panic, is the way forward.
As the January transfer window approached, speculation began to swirl, but Edwards dismissed concerns about any immediate shake-up. Instead, he stressed that decisions will be made calmly and on a case-by-case basis, without noise or external pressure.
“We will take each situation in January on an individual basis“he said.”This doesn’t concern me.”
For Edwards, the priority is not market maneuvering but management, finding ways to lift players whose confidence may be fragile and extracting the best from a team going through a demanding period.
