“You know, PR tried, but I’m not going to sit here and give a politically correct (answer). Every day I wake up and I see the news and I’m horrified. I think it’s crazy that some people make it seem like this is OK, that killing civilians is OK,” the San Antonio Spurs star said. said Tuesday.
“I read the news and sometimes I ask myself very deep questions about my own life. I’m also aware that saying everything I think would come at too high a cost for me right now. So I prefer not to go into too much detail.”

Griner, who was previously in prison in Russia following an arrest abroad for cannabis possession, questions the state of the country.

Griner issues “warning” to Americans

I try to do a good job of ignoring it.”

“I hope people understand that ‘when we come together, we can stop what’s happening,’” Griner said. “We can change what is happening in our country right now.”
