Friday July 12: Phoenix vs. Connecticut Sun – Pride Night
The Sun will feature many members of the LGBTQ+ community for an incredible celebration of equality. The evening will conclude with a post-game panel featuring local celebrities and Connecticut Sun players discussing LGBTQ+ issues.

Griner is a five-time WNBA All-Star and two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. In her seventh WNBA season, the Phoenix Mercury forward ranks fourth all-time in WNBA history and holds the regular season records for blocks in a game, in a season, blocks average in a single season and career blocks average. - Alyson Stoner
Stoner is an actress, voice artist, singer, dancer and model best known for her roles in Cheaper by the Dozen, Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the series Step Up. She has released 12 singles and served as a backup dancer for Missy Elliott and Eminem. - Ella Briggs
Current Connecticut Kid Governor Ella was sworn in in January. A fifth grader in East Hampton, she was elected on an LGBTQ youth safety platform, which focuses on three things: promoting adoptions for homeless LGBTQ youth, training teachers on how to work with LGBTQ youth and create youth programs for LGBTQ youth and their allies. - Layshia Clarendon
A WNBA All-Star in 2017, Clarendon won a gold medal with the U.S. national team at the World Championships in 2018. In seven WNBA seasons, the Connecticut Sun guard has played in 198 career games and averages 6.9 points and 2.9 assists per game.
