Nicolas Clayton, Wisconsin football class of 2025, earned a four-star designation in the 247Sports composite rankings on Thursday.
At the time of his commitment in June, the outlet considered the defensive prospect a three-star recruit out of high school. His impressive results at FW Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla., appear to have boosted his recruiting rankings.
On October 3, Clayton announced that he had recorded 48 total tackles, 4 TFLs, 9 PBUs, 10 carries, 5 sacks and 1 forced fumble as a senior. These numbers will surely increase as his season progresses and could further impact his rookie status.
247Sports now rates Clayton as Florida State’s No. 424 overall prospect, No. 31 upside and No. 58 recruit in the Class of 2025. Clayton also visited UW for its game against the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions. on October 26.
