The Wisconsin continued its impressive start of the 2025 off -season Friday evening, when it landed Transfer of the transfer of Portland advance Austin Rapp.
Rapp joins the program with three years of eligibility to stay. The 6-foot 10-inch striker should provide immediate replacement for a large part of Steven Crowl production in the front area, while he joins the program after an average of 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in the first year in 2024-25, while firing at 39.7% in the field and 35.2% of 35.2%.

The first year of the coe of the year joined Guard of Virginie Andrew Rohde In the 2025 transfer class of badgers. They each adapt to a similar mold – Rapp led the CEO in attempts at 3 points (236), made (83) and percentage (35.2%), while Rohde pulled a clip 41% beyond the arc. The Wisconsin has its option to score wings greater than John Blackwell entering in 2025-26, Assuming he does not go for the NBA. The program makes a clear effort to surround it with shooting threats or players who can contribute without a high volume workload.
While the Wisconsin still has remaining needs in the starting program and among its reserve group, here is a preview of the planned programming and rotation of the team.

The departure program of Wisconsin seems much more dangerous with the commitments of Rohde and Rapp. Assuming that Blackwell and Winter, there is a chance that this programming is even more difficult to defend than the 2024-25 group, in particular given threats of high-end shooting from 1 to 5.
Rapp’s commitment is particularly impactful. The Wisconsin was a thin razor like Steven Crowl and Carter Gilmore obtained their diploma. Its addition will allow Greg Gard to bring Xavier Amos back from the bench, considerably lengthening the rotation. Three reversal points is sometimes difficult to find in this position. Rapp exactly provides that, ensuring that the team does not miss a beat after losing Crowl (9.9 points per game, 41.6% out of 3) and its floor spacing capacity.
The great variable to look at is the position of the wing. Wisconsin is trendy for the Nick Boyd guardWhich could push Rohde to Wing. Or, the Wisconsin could add Boyd and a top scorer, then bring Rohde from the bench.
* (Note:: Blackwell said for the NBA draft April 3 while maintaining its collegial eligibility. It remains in the planned programming, except an unexpected administration surface)))

The rotation of the Wisconsin lengthens considerably with Janicki and Amos who came out of the bench, as opposed to the two leading the starting range with Blackwell and Winter. The program still needs depth at the front, because neither Greppi nor Garlock are regular rotation entries.
Badgers still have several scholarships available. The commitments of a high -end wing, a goalkeeper and a depth forward, and the team will again perform as one of the best of the big ten.
