Abdul Carter played a major role in Penn State’s defense this season, as the junior defensive end compiled 11 sacks and two forced fumbles.

But he was injured in the win over Boise State on New Year’s Eve.

You may be wondering: Will Carter play in Thursday’s College Football Playoff semifinal against Notre Dame? Here’s what we currently know.

Head coach James Franklin said he would “expect” Cater to play, although it will be a game-time decision. This could mean he’s in…or he’s out. Stay tuned to see whether or not he plays before Thursday night.
