The Dux Senior was committed to Hope College on Wednesday, joining a Flying Dutchmen team which has just taken place one of the team’s best seasons in the history of the school and the first victory of the qualifiers for Division III of the NCAA.

“I undertook to hope for the culture, the great coaches staff and the large program all together,” said Hendricks. “I know that I can count on everyone there to help build myself in my full potential.”
Hendricks was the first team of all states as a ball carrier after leading the Dux in the state championship, where he marked a record of six affected.
For the season, he had 146 rushes for 1,606 yards and 26 affected, with an average of 11 yards per race.
His speed has never been in doubt, but Hendricks has become a well -balanced and stronger player as a senior, leading to hope.
“This opportunity means so much for me to play at the next level because I didn’t really think about it before the second half of this season,” said Hendricks. “But just all the coaches believing that there is something special they see in me is a big boost and I am super excited to be able to show them what I can do for the team.”
