Over the course of eight weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs – directed by Patrick Mahomes – are the favorites to win the super bowl. With Mahomes and the Chiefs expected to reach the very end of the NFL season, the subject of the World Series came up with Mahomes before practice on Wednesday.
Patrick Mahomes chooses the Texas Rangers
Mahomes revealed he was a Growing Rangers fan and will cheer the team on to beat the Diamondbacks.
I was a big Rangers fan growing up, especially during the high school years when they made it to the World Series and (lost) two of them. I was able to go to some of those games, so I was a Rangers fan. I guess it’s my team if the Royals aren’t in the running. So I’m happy that they’re making it to the World Series. Shane Buechele is also a huge Rangers fan. So I texted him when they arrived. So it’s cool to see. And I hope they go out and win.
Patrick Mahomes’ Adorable Interaction With His Kids During Chiefs Game
Mahomes went to high school in the Rangers area and played baseball during those years. He finally chose football, which was clearly the good choice. But he has said in the past that throwing actually helped him develop his skills as a quarterback.
He mentions that he is a Kansas City Royals fan, which will appeal to all Kansas City residents. We’ll see if Mahomes gets invited to a Rangers home game next week.
