Coming back from yesterday Arch Manning Newsand then the Top 100 players revealed Today that featured TreVeyon Henderson, two of the most rumored players who wouldn’t be in the game are actually in EA Sports College Football 25. So which players are not in EA Sports College Football 25?
Well, there’s not much confirmation on this topic even a week or two out from launch, but journalist Matt Brown has an update from EA:
Of course, EA’s decision to not participate in major tournaments is just their own definition. Every fan may have a different definition of what a major tournament is and may not agree once they see the rosters. Still, it’s a confident statement from EA, and it seems that while early numbers indicated that over 10,000 players had opted into the tournament, that number has only grown since then.
If we see “major” players not playing, it seems like it will likely be due to players transferring between schools:
The bottom line here is that, yes, EA Sports College Football 25 will have roster updates (which we already knew). So even if some key transfers aren’t there at launch, there’s no reason they can’t be added with a roster update. It seems that as long as EA gets a player’s legal paperwork, there’s no reason they can’t be added at a later date.
So for now, this is a question that remains to be determined. Once the game launches and we see that some players are not participating in the game, it will be easier to get information from the source to know if this is a short-term problem or an actual unsubscription of some players.
