Clemson extended his impressive ACC victories sequence with seven games with a 78-69 victory Boston College Wednesday, now its position n ° 22 in the net ranking.

Jaeden Zackery led the Tigers with a summit of 21 points in his return to Chestnut Hill after the transfer of British Columbia. Head coach Brad Browll congratulated Zackery’s consistency, stressing how his game allowed Chase Hunter to relax and focus more on the scoring. Viktor Lakhin added a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Hunter collected 18 points.

Clemson Strongly out, building an advance of 16 points at the end of the first half, but the Boston College retaliated, reducing the gap to only three points with just over five minutes. It was at this point that the tigers tightened defensively, forcing the missed shots and the key reversals to seal the victory. The victory linked the record for a single season of Clemson with 25 wins and extends the sequence of victories on the Raper of the ACC of the team at eight games, while equalizing the best consecutive victories of the ACC consecutive.

The Tigers now hold a 4-2 in Quad 1 file, with victories on Kentucky (n ° 13), Duke (n ° 1) and Pitt (n ° 61). Their Quad 2 record is 7-2, quad 3 to 8-1, and they remain undefeated in 4 quad with a 5-0 brand. With their constant success in all the quadrants, the prospects of the Clemson NCAA tournament are brighter while they end the regular season.
