County boss Christian Fuchs has called for unity at Newport as they look to avoid relegation to the fifth tier for the first time since 2013.
The Exiles travel to the play-offs to chase down Barnet on Saturday March 14 (3:00 p.m. GMT) as they enter a crucial phase in their battle against relegation.

Despite a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Colchester last Saturday, Fuchs insists his side are heading in the right direction and urged his supporters to support the team.
“I call on our fans to support us and support us. We have a unit here that wants to work together, that wants the same result.” Said Fuchs.
“Everyone wants us to succeed and we can only achieve this together.
“This one game, knowing what the possibilities were, hurts a little, but that doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t define the season. We have 10 games left, and in these ten games we try to give our best.”

County currently sit 23rd in the League Two table, but are only 22nd behind Barrow on goal difference.
The Exiles are eyeing relegation and, with just 10 matches remaining, they need to keep getting results.
Despite their precarious situation, Fuchs insists his players are in a “very good position” and is confident they can survive.
“Since I arrived, whenever there is a setback, the boys usually react. So I have confidence in them.” Fuchs said
“When you look at the last six games, for example, we’re in a pretty good place. So I think we’re actually in a really good position. Obviously the last result always hurts and that’s all over the place in how you feel.”

Fuchs also reiterated the importance of survival for him and his players.
“Survival is huge and we know it. We know it’s our responsibility. There’s a lot of energy there, there’s also a lot of enthusiasm because they believe in themselves.
“They know what they’ve been doing lately and they just have to keep moving forward and doing the right things.”
Defender Lee Jenkins returned from injury last Saturday and scored County’s only goal with a towering header deep into injury time.
Fuchs highlighted the importance of squad depth and welcomed the return of former Cymru Premier centre-back Jenkins.

“We’ve had some injury problems lately, so it’s good to see these players back and in full training.” Fuchs said.
“It gives us the depth we need, but it also brings quality back to the team.”
