We are now less than a week away from the Ohio State football program hosting the first-ever playoff game inside Ohio Stadium. This is the first-ever 12-team CFP season, and the Buckeyes will host the Tennessee Volunteers for the No. 8 vs. No. 9 seed contest, with the winner facing the No. 1 seed Oregon in the quarter-finals.
On Monday, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day along with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly were made available to the media to answer questions from reporters and talk about how preparation is going for competition in the College Football Playoffsbut also to think again about what did not work against Michigan.
This is really the first time we’re hearing about Kelly, the guy who has a lot of influence on the offensive game plan and play decisions, so the media was eager to get his thoughts on what he has seen in the match. 13-10 loss to the Wolverines.
If you missed any part of the press conference, you can watch it in its entirety here via video obtained from the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel.
Ohio State and Tennessee are scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. ET inside the ‘Shoe on Saturday night. ESPN will air the broadcast after many OSU fans called for a night game.
Wish granted.
We’ll have more on this game throughout the week, so check back often.
