The Washington Mystics will move four of their 22 games at the regular season of the WNBA 2025 to larger sites in Maryland and Virginia, the team announced on Thursday.
Washington moved his match against Las Vegas Aces on July 10 in Eaglebank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia. The Mytics match against Chicago’s sky on July 8 will also be played in Eaglebank Arena. Washington also moved his games against Indiana fever on May 28 and September 7 at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore rather than inside his usual place, Carefirst Arena.
Carefirst Arena sits just over 4,000 fans, while Eaglebank Arena and CFG Bank Arena sit around 10,000 people and 11,000 people.
“Fans of the Mystics live through the DMV and beyond, and we are delighted to bring together the incredible experience of the home WNBA for fans living near Baltimore and the North Virginia,” said the Director of Mystical Affairs, Alycen Mcauley. “While our game continues to experience enormous growth, we are grateful that we have the opportunity to allow even more fans to come and see the mystics in person.”
π¨ Mark your calendars π¨
Not one, not two, but four home games of the mystics will be moved @Eaglebankarena & @Cfgbankarena This season!
Last season, we sold all home matches, do it again! We can’t wait to make a show to Northern Va and Baltimore. π

Last year, Washington moved several of his home games at larger sites. The final of the regular season of mystics against fever has set an attendance record in a single WNBA match, with 20,711 fans of the competition played inside Capital One Arena.
The team agreement with the district and DC events allows mystics to plan up to four games outside of Carefirst Arena. While the displaced matches of the mystics were played in Capital Onena last season, the arena will not be available this summer during the renovations as part of A recently approved plan worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Fever is not foreigners to move their games. Last season, Indiana played in larger places moved during the AS, Atlanta Dream and Los Angeles Sparks.
This season, the Indiana match against Connecticut Sun on July 15 will take place in the Boston TD garden instead of the smallest Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut in Uncasville, in Connecticut.
“I think it’s great because it gives other people the opportunity not only to come and see the fever play, but also to see the mystics play,” the center of Indiana Aliyah Boston said on Thursday. “I think it’s super exciting because we continue to attract people to WNBA, people to these games. And hey, they could come for a player at that time, then they could let love two or three others. »»
In the middle of the record of Caitlin Clark, the fever hit the record numbers for records, with an average of 17,036 per home game to lead the league for the first time. Indiana also led WNBA in average road attendance at 15,131 per game.
The Sky finished second in road attendance last season and played the mystics at Capital Onena.
The regular WNBA 2025 season begins on May 16.
