Warner’s wife surprisingly predicts 49ers star’s pick over Patriots originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
Fred Warner’s wife, Sydney, can see into the 49ers’ star linebacker’s future.
Well, maybe not exactly.
But she surprisingly predicted the All-Pro linebacker’s pick six in the San Francisco game. 30-13 victory against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.
In the latest episode of their podcast, The Warner HouseSydney asked Warner what he would do to get a much-needed win for the 49ers.
To which the fifth-round pick responded with a concise three-word response.
“Trifecta, your favorite,” Warner replied.
A “trifecta” for Warner is an interception, forced fumble and sack in one game, which was not what Sydney guessed.
Instead, by mistake or not, she did her best psychic impression.
“Let me try to see who the winning trio is,” Sydney said.
“All right, here we go,” Warner said with a laugh. “Let’s see who the winning trio is.” What is number one?
“Pick six?” » asked Sydney.
No, but in the second quarter, Warner picked off an interception of Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s pass, got up and ran 45 yards into the end zone.
Unfortunately, Warner injured his ankle late in the first half and did not return to action in the second half, ending his chances of recording a three.
But hey, maybe Sydney can continue to predict – or manifest – more triumphs in the future.
