A viral video shared by ESPN from an Instagram account shows a duo of dancers performing almost perfectly synchronized dances to short bursts of music. NFL thematic music from partner broadcasters.
The account, “@cost_n_mayor”, is labeled as belonging to Austin and Marideth Telenko, who describe themselves as a dance and choreography duo.
In the clip, originally released on August 16, 2022, they dance routines to Fox, BNC, CBS, ESPN And NFL Network NFL themed music.
The performances look pretty intense from an athletic standpoint – and it’s even more entertaining that they’re done with completely stoic, serious faces from both Telenkos.
Much of the choreography takes up the most important elements of the music, while also channeling the broad movements, from the highest to the lowest, and from the dramatic to more upbeat parts of the music.
NFL broadcast rights are currently split between Fox, NBC, CBS and ESPN, with the latter sometimes simulcast on ABC. Amazon owns the streaming rights, and its newly introduced theme is not included in the publication (it was not publicly available at the time the music video was filmed).
ESPN’s ABC show recently aired introduces a new branded door opener which has a musical cue, even if it’s not a complete theme.
