Mount Pleasant, Michigan (AP) – Kyler Vanderjagt scored 25 points on the bench to help lead the center of Michigan after Bowling Green 90-71 on Saturday evening.
Vanderjagt pulled 8 out of 10 in the field, including 6 for 7 from the range of 3 points, and went 3 for 4 of the line for the Chippewas (10-11, 4-5 mid-American conference). Ugnius Jarusevicius scored 21 points and added 12 rebounds. Anthony Pritchard collected 15 points and fired 5 out of 9 on the field and 5 for 6 from the line.
The Falcons (7-14, 2-7) were taken in score by Javontae Campbell, which finished with 17 points and two interceptions. Bowling Green also obtained 15 points and two interceptions from Trey Thomas. Jamai also estimated that nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
Center of Michigan took the lead with 13:22 to play in the first half and never looked back. Vanderjagt led the Chippewas with 11 points first half to help them go up 49-33 to the break. The center of Michigan withdrew with a 15-0 race in the second half to extend an advance of eight points at 23 points.
