The use of golf carts, off-road recreational and utility vehicles within Osage Beach city limits is expected to be one of the topics of discussion at next week’s Board of Alderman meeting.
The council should consider an ordinance that would allow all-terrain and utility vehicles to travel on roads with posted speed limits of 45 miles per hour or less, while golf carts would still be limited to roads with limits speed of 30 or less. less.
The ordinance would also require a total ban on the use of golf carts, off-road recreational and utility vehicles on Highway 54 and require the use of seat belts for off-road and utility vehicles.
