The USC Trojans’ schedule this fall is finally set. On Wednesday, the football program confirmed its Week 0 opponent, a position that has been vacant for some time until now.

In a official press release schedule, the Trojans revealed they would face the San Jose State Spartans on August 29.
Kickoff and network designations have not been officially revealed.
“The Spartans, led by head coach Ken Niumatalolo, will travel to Southern California for the seventh time in program history,” the release said. “USC holds an all-time record of 6-0 against San Jose State, with each game played at the Coliseum. In the most recent meeting between the teams, the Trojans defeated the Spartans 56-28 to open the 2023 season. The Trojans are 37-1-1 against Mountain West teams (not including 2 wins vacated due to an NCAA penalty; original record: 39-1-1).”

Notable teams USC is playing this season
USC Trojans play three college football playoffs teams from last season, including the Oregon Ducks, Ohio State Buckeyes and defend national champion Indiana Hoosiers.
Coach Lincoln Riley recently spoke openly about how much he I’m looking forward to this fall.
“There has been real progress, even despite the number of injuries,” Riley said in a statement. interview with JD PicKell. “You’re not going to win all of these games the same way. Every game is going to be a little different. And if you want to be an elite team, if you want to be a championship team, you’ve got to learn how to do it, and a program has to learn how to do it.
