In an exciting confrontation of the U-20 World Cup, Chile has defeated New Zealand With a 2-1 victory at the National Stadium Julio Martínez Prádanos. The match remained without control in the first half, but Lautaro Millán broke the dead end of Chile in the 54th minute. Nathan Walker equalized the scoring with a penalty in the 85th minute, only for Ian Garguez to seal Chile’s victory with a dramatic goal in the 97th minute. The two teams displayed tireless energy, but the resilience of Roja and their strategic substitutions made the difference.

Lautaro Millán was the out -of -competition player, scoring the first goal and providing a decisive pass. His presence in the midfield was crucial to conducting the attack on Chile and ensuring their victory.

Despite the same number of objectives attempts, Chile has managed to convert its opportunities more effectively, demonstrating their superiority before the objective.

The victory of La Roja propels them to second place in their group, tied on points with the leaders of Japan, only behind the difference in goals. New Zealand Stay in third position, forced to win his next match to keep their hopes for qualifying alive.
