NEW YORK — New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba was fined $5,000, the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement, for pass the Boston Bruins forward Frederic Trent during NHL Game No. 308 in New York on Saturday, November 25, the National Hockey League Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred 2:20 into the second period.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
