You don’t need to know how to say Connor Bedardhis name to know that he is good at hockey.
NFL star Travis Kelce had trouble pronouncing the Chicago Blackhawks rookie forward’s name in a new episode of his podcast “New Heights.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, were choosing their starting five all-NFL hockey teams when Travis’ name dropped from Bedard.
“He’s like the rookie that the Blackhawks just got that I was talking about earlier… Connor Bed-nard or Connor Bend-dard,” Travis tried to pronounce in a clip. “I don’t even know how to pronounce his last name. I just know I love watching this guy play hockey.
Travis’ accident made his brother laugh.
The Blackhawks responded on social media saying Travis could just call the rookie “Bedsy.”
