Despite being just 17, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mikey Moore has been praised by Ange Postecoglou and said he has made a “real impact” this season.
The Australian once described the talented teenager as ‘exceptional’ and Moore’s teammate James Maddison went even further and compared him to world-class Brazilian ace Neymar, according to The Independent.

“I think he is ready to start any game,” the manager told the assembled media when asked if Moore was ready to start a Premier League match.
“(…) For us, what we want to do is continue to develop Mikey in the right way and give him the platform to continue to improve.
“So far, whatever we’ve asked of him, he’s had a real impact.”
Moore’s rapid adaptation to life in England’s elite clearly bodes well for the north Londoners, although Postecoglou would probably be the first person to rein in his expectations.
Strength is a key element for any young player to develop alongside their footballing skills, and ensuring Moore can withstand the heat of battle will be as important to the club as anything else.
Tottenham go into this weekend’s London derby four points off the Champions League places and eight behind leaders Liverpool, who will aim to continue their remarkable run under Arne Slot against Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal .
Palace are still winless after eight games, and having to deal with a confident Mikey Moore and some of his teammates who are already playing at the top of their game will give Oliver Glasner sleepless nights.
