In recent weeks, we have examined some of the best recruits of high school football in the country’s recruitment homes.

The series started with the best 2026 Texas recruits And last week, we watched the The best juniors out of Florida.

This time, we will head west and look at the Golden State. Here are the best recruits 2026 to keep an eye on California.

Ryder Lyons

School: Folsom

Position: Strategist

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: Lyon may be a graduate in 2026, but he corresponds more to the 2027 class because he will make a mission trip LDS after his career in high school.

He comes out of a junior season where he launched for 3,011 yards and 46 affected. As for possible NCAA landing points, the USC seems to be the favorite of its recruitment – its older brother is currently plays for Trojan horses, which only contributes to the process.

Brandon Arrington

School: Mount Miguel (Spring Valley)

Position: Athlete

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: Arrington is a real five -star talent, with several of the best programs in the country that demands. Currently, Texas A&M looks like the favorite program to land it.

This could change in the coming months, however. He has official visits aligned in Penn State (May 2), Texas A&M (June 5), Alabama (June 13), USC (June 17) and Oregon (June 20).

Mark Bowman

School: Mater dei (Santa Ana)

Position: END

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: At 6 feet 4 inches and 230 pounds, Bowman already looks like a tight college to prepare for his NFL Pro day. Playing to watch Dei, there is a good chance that it will reach this level in the very close future.

No real favorite has yet emerged in his recruitment, but he has official visits aligned with Alabama (May 30), Texas (June 6), USC (June 17) and Oregon (June 20).

Chris Henry Jr.

School: Mater dei (Santa Ana)

Position: Wide receiver

Commitment: Ohio State

Summary: The son of the late Bengal receiver Chris Henry, Henry Jr. is considered by many as one of the best receivers (if not the best) in the 2026 class. And as most of the best receivers in recent years, he heads for Columbus.

An injury at the end of the season earlier in the year has short of its junior season, but expect a Healthy Henry Jr. to put crazy figures during his senior campaign.

Kodi Greene

School: Mater dei (Santa Ana)

Position: Offensive tackle

Commitment: Oregon

Summary: The Ducks head coach Dan Lanning went to California and added another elite talent, landing Greene last June. It will be a massive piece of their future in the future with its 6 -foot 6 inch and 310 pound frames.

Davon Benjamin

School: OAKS Christian (Westlake Valley)

Position: Security

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: Oregon tends to land Benjamin, and it would be a massive boost for an already busy secondary. As a junior, he represented 45 plated, six interceptions, five plated for the loss and four pass ruptures.

He has not yet set dates for official visits, but we must expect the Ducks and the USC to be included on this list.

RJ sermons

School: Rancho Cucamonga

Position: Corner

Commitment: USC

Summary: The sermons did not play a ton last season, but when he did, he was usually the best player on the field. The future Trojan recorded 34 placed in six games.

Simote Katoanga

School: Santa Margarita Catholic (Rancho Santa Margarita)

Position: Defensive line

Commitment: USC

Summary: Katoanga engaged in Trojan horses just a few weeks ago and seems to be a solid commitment to the future USC list. He has an official visit aligned for June 6.

Richard Wesley

School: Sierra Canyon (Los Angeles)

Position: EDGE

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: At 6 feet 4 inches and 250 pounds, Wesley is already a force to count in advance. His junior season saw him represent 44 plated, 16 plated for the loss, nine bags and two forced escapes.

When writing the editorial’s moment, it seems that USC and Oregon are the favorites of its recruitment.

Brian Bonner

School: Valence

Position: Back

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: Standing at 6 feet 1 inch, Bonner is a big back with impressive figures. His junior season saw him rush for 1,493 yards and 25 affected in 197 races. It has an average of 135 yards per match.

Bonner recently aligned an official visit to Washington on the weekend of April 25.

Israel Briggs

School: SEDIEUS (VISALIA)

Position: END

Commitment: Arizona State

Summary: At 6 feet 6 inches and 200 pounds, Briggs already looks like a tight end. The Sun Devils prepare a guy to be a threat and an elite blocker at the next level.

Although it remains attached to Arizona State, do not expect that other programs start to avoid. Miami is one of those teams that have remained strongly involved in its recruitment.

Kayden Dixon-Wyatt

School: Mater dei (Santa Ana)

Position: Wide receiver

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: The list of Mater Dei is responsible for talents on the offensive side of the ball, but Dixon-Wyatt has always found a way to stand above the rest.

The junior led the team by receiving 693 yards and five affected on 50 receptions. Oregon also seems to be a favorite here, but programs like Ohio State, USC, Alabama and Texas all remain in the mixture.

Brandon Lockhart

School: Loyola (Los Angeles)

Position: Corner

Commitment: USC

Summary: Lockhart decided to stay in his country of origin, committing to Trojan horses. This could be a massive victory for a defense of the USC which has been struggling for years.

A shutdown, he recorded 42 plated last season to accompany a top of five interceptions and 11 shortcomings.

Vance Spafford

School: Viejo mission

Position: Wide receiver

Commitment: Georgia

Summary: Bulldogs get a real threat in the slit with the 5 -foot spafford 11 inches.

Last season, he led his team by receiving, catching 57 assists for 1,017 yards and 14 affected. It has an average of more than 17 yards per catch.

Tommy Tofi

School: Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco)

Position: Interior offensive line

Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: Massive prospect of 6 feet 7 inches and 350 pounds, several higher programs are after Tofi. Oregon seems to be the first favorite of its recruitment, and it is ready to go to Eugene for an official visit on June 6.
