Toni Breidinger was the only woman racing full-time on one of NASCAR’s three touring circuits last year, driving the No. 5 Toyota for Tricon Garage in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Breidinger will compete in truck races again in 2026, but as a team and with a reduced schedule. Wednesday, Jan. 21 announcements from Breidinger and Chevrolet Racing indicated she would join the Rackley WAR team and compete in eight races in the No. 27 Chevrolet truck.

Starting with the truck race at Daytona on Feb. 13, Breidinger will also race at Texas Motor Speedway, Dover, Nashville, North Wilkesboro, Indianapolis, New Hampshire and Talladega. She will continue to receive support from sponsors such as Raising Canes, Celsius and Sunoco.

“I am incredibly excited to join Rackley WAR and compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series again in 2026,” Breidinger said in a statement. “This calendar features some of the biggest races on the calendar. I’m ready to get to work and make the most of every opportunity.”

The 26-year-old Californian has competed in 29 Truck Series races over the past three years, including a full 25-race schedule last season. Her best truck result last season came at Rockingham where she finished 18th in the first NASCAR race held at the track in 12 years. In 2023, she had two top-20 finishes in Kansas and Nashville, placing 15th and 17th, respectively.

Before moving into trucks, Breidinger also competed in the ARCA Menards Series, where she had 27 top-10 finishes in five seasons. In 2024, she finished fourth in the ARCA series standings, making her the highest-scoring female driver in ARCA history until Isabella Robusto tied that mark last year.

“Toni is a unique talent. She brings visibility and professionalism wherever she goes,” said Willie Allen, COO of Rackley WAR.

Breidinger is the first Arab-American woman to compete in NASCAR. She also has a modeling career and appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, becoming the first active NASCAR driver to be featured there. She has also participated in marketing campaigns for Coach, GAP and Victoria’s Secret.

Between Instagram, TikTok and

This season will mark the first time since 2021 that she will not compete in a Toyota car.

“I can’t wait to start this next chapter with the Team Chevy family,” Breidinger said. “Chevrolet’s passion for motorsports and commitment to performance is second to none. With their support of the growing Rackley WAR program, I am confident they will provide me with the resources necessary to compete for victories.”

Rackley WAR enters its sixth year of Craftsman Truck Series competition. Dawson Sutton drove the organization’s No. 26 Chevrolet full-time last season. Rackley WAR has one Truck Series victory, taken by Matt DiBenedetto in 2022 at Talladega.
