“We are not setting up banners for the super eight. We have set up banners for the championships.”
It was the message of the Michigan State coach Tom Izzo after the Spartans’ Victory over Ole Miss Friday evening, to go to the elite eight against Auburn on Sunday. Izzo’s comment was a simple statement according to which the state of Michigan is not satisfied with reaching the Elite Eight and needing at least a victory to hang a banner.

The Spartans again overcome a two -digit deficit to beat the rebels fascinating on Friday evening. The Michigan State was led by the featured recruit Jase Richardson, who ended the match with 20 points.
On Sunday, the state of Michigan will now face the Global seeded in the elite eight. Tipoff between Spartans and Tigers is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. HE.
