NBA trade rumor season is upon us and Harris offered a humorous perspective on what some 76ers fans think of him.
With the NBA Draft in the rearview mirror and free agency on the horizon, trade rumor season is in full swing. Most players generally know whether or not there’s a chance they’ll make a move, or at the very least have access to what people are talking about on social media regarding possible trade scenarios.
Consider 76ers Before Tobias Harris someone who knows his time with his team may be coming to an end. And if it’s the case ? Well, that’s how the cookie crumbles.
Harris was asked about the trade rumors on Tuesday and provided one of the best sound bites of the offseason, joking that “casual” Sixers fans would be happy to trade him for, well, a return modest – a Crumbled cookie.

Harris spent over four seasons with the Sixers after being traded Clippers in Philadelphia in 2019. He has one year remaining on the five-year, $180 million contract he signed that summer, and he’s set to make nearly $40 million next season, so it stands to reason that his name has been popping up in trade rumors…if the team is looking to shed salary and shed an expiring contract.
