Swimsuit illustrated by Sports celebrates its 60th anniversary and for the occasion the magazine launches digital issues, with its first cover star Alix Earle.
THE Podcast “Hot Mess” the TikTok host and content creator landed the new digital cover while simultaneously making her runway debut at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fashion Show in South Beach for Miami Swim Week, which runs from May 29 to June 3. The issue will be available on Sports Illustrated platforms starting Monday, June 3.

The range also includes Chanel ImanChristen Harper, host Kamie Crawford, Katie Austin, Louisiana State University gymnastics star Olivia “Livvy” DunneJena Sims and Number icon and actress Kate Upton.

There is also a trilogy of special collectible covers that were captured during the filming of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Legends 60th Anniversary, which commemorated the 60th anniversary of the franchise. Legends cover stars include Lori Harvey, Maye MuskNina Agdal, Winnie Harlow, trans activist Leyna Bloommodel Camille Kostek, 80s icon Christie Brinkley, model Tyra Banksfamous soccer player Megan Rapinoe, media mogul Martha StewartWNBA legend Sue Bird and lifestyle guru Molly Sims.
The magazine said the move to digital covers will allow the brand to focus more regularly on its swimwear content, while the print swimsuit issue will continue to be published annually.
