Add another championship to the Woods family.
Sam Woods, the daughter of Tiger Woods, 17, became a champion of state during the weekend because she was part of the football team for university girls of the Benjamin school who won the Florida 2A FHSAA state championship. A senior defender of the team, the eldest daughter of the Grand Golf helped Benjamin to launch 1-0 Roulis of the Jacksonville episcopal school.
The victory earned the first women’s women’s women’s football championship in the history of the program and has closed an incredible race in the playoff series. After winning only four games during the regular season, Benjamin won seven victories in consecutive playoffs to win the title of State.
Woods was present for the match at Spec Martin Stadium in Deland, Florida, on the campus of the University of Stetson to support his daughter, and was seen celebrating with parents and fans nearby while Emma Bartoli scored the winning goal and when the team won the victory. Subsequently, Woods and his daughter shared a hug.
Sam Woods also took photos on the ground with his father and mother, Elin Nordegren, as well as his teammates.
Not only is another distinction for the sports family, but Sam Woods also joined his younger brother, Charlie, to bring state titles to their school. Charlie Woods was part of the 2023 Golf State Championship team for boys in the first year.
