CORAL GABLES — The 62nd edition Junior Orange Bowl kicked off on Saturday, January 3, featuring 48 boys and 36 girls golfers in an international event at Biltmore Golf Course.
In attendance were not only some well-known competitors, but also their even more famous relatives, including the professional golf legend. Tiger wood and Elin Nordegren, who were in the gallery to support her son Charlie Woods.

There was also PGA Tour veteran Matt Kuchar, fresh off his PNC Championship victory alongside his son Matt Kuchar, who is also competing in the event.

Charlie shot 73 (2-over) on his first day on the course. He entered the clubhouse tied for 24th place. Cameron shot 77 (6-over) and will enter the second day of the championship tied for 39th place.
While Tiger was heard congratulating Charlie on a “a hell of a blow” Following his son’s performance to break a deadlock on the 11th hole, Matt Kuchar followed his son around during the day, stopping to walk the course with him between holes six and seven to discuss strategy.
