Three take-out dishes of the Calgary-San Jose match (April 7)

Calgary’s flames. Will. Not. To leave.

They beat the San Jose Sharks in a 3-2 victory of 3-2 victory Monday evening in the shark reservoir.

Here are my three take -out dishes of the game:

1) Return of an atrocious 40 minutes

We are always told “it’s not how you start, but it’s how you finish.”

Well, the flames may have obtained this memo.

During the first period, San Jose exceeded Calgary 18 to 8. The last shot for the home side led to an ice rupture goal.

At the end of the second period, the Sharks had blocked the shooting tracks on the flames to the point that the players of San Jose had recorded 12 blocks, while Calgary had eight.

The tide turned in the third period when in a space of 7:18 minutes, the flames scored three unanswered goals and never looked back. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

2) Special teams arose

I mentioned in my Overview of the article That after the 0 for 4 against Vegas, the power game of the flames had to make a categorical return.

Well … Nothing better than marking the man’s starting goal.

The penalty was as large as expected 2 for 3, although naturally, the 4 vs 6 The situation at the end was never going to end well for the flames.

3) Dustin Wolf proves that he is the REAL Calder Trophy Favorite

We seem to be a record broken at this stage, but when Wolf wins its second consecutive prize as the first consecutive star, can you blame us? He was bombed with 31 shots, including four from the current recruit of the year Macklin Celebrini. The first choice of last year had a Expected objective Value of 0.49 (the highest team) against Wolf, but was finally illegal by the California Kid.

The Flames gathered two precious points in their quest to tear off the second point of Joker from Minnesota Wild, who widened the gap between them and the flames after their victory on Sunday.

The two teams will have the chance to prove who really deserves a place of playoffs when they will compete on Friday.

But before that, Calgary’s flames will remain under sunny California to play the Anaheim Ducks at 10:00 am MDT / 8: 00 HA on Wednesday.
