Khama Billiat’s contract with the Chiefs expired at the end of June and his future is a constant subject of speculation. The 32-year-old has been with the Glamor Boys for five years but has never been able to replicate the scintillating form that saw him become one of the country’s best players with Sundowns. Last season he only played 12 times in the league and scored no goals.

Tanzanian giants Young Afircans have reportedly been tracking Billiat’s progress. They are aware that talks between the player and the Chiefs have broken down and they could be tempted by the option of signing a player of his quality and experience as a free agent.
