The key, as you probably know, is to leverage the ground and shift your weight from your back foot to your front foot as you begin your descent. This is non-negotiable.

The trick, however, is to not let your head follow while you do this. very significant weight transfer. Keep it.
In fact, it’s a good idea to feel your head moving away from the target as you move from back to front. It is this movement of the lower body towards the target with the head tilted back that creates the whip-like movement that all big hitters share, as well as maximum speed.
When you move your head with your gear shift, your path goes haywire, forcing either an inward exit path or a too-in-out path. So when you swing, especially with the driver, think of two forces: the forward one with your lower body and the backward one with your head.
The bullet won’t know what hit it.
