There is no doubt that PGA Tour Veteran Stephan Jaeger is an elite golfer. But in an instant Thursday at Sanderson Farms championshipJaeger looked more like your friend of 20 handicaps in a local.
It was thanks to a Melianca with his pilot during Tour 1 so bad that the broadcast of television called him “shocking”.

When he arrived at the 17th hole in 4 during the Thursday opening tour, Jaeger had a dashboard without sparkling Bogey and a score of four sous to show for that. The first lead in the Sanderson Farms championship was in sight.
But then something happened which is familiar to all recreational golfers, but who is completely unknown to the pros, especially the winners of the tour.
Jaeger aligned his starting coup, withdrew his driver and unleashed his swing. But instead of making a clean contact, the bottom of its driver hit the top of the ball.
As the video review shows, Jaeger’s balloon first hit the ground just after the impact, then advanced just above the grass, finally coming to rest 104 meters from the Tee box.
He also seemed interrupted at least a set of member t-shirts at the Jackson Country Club.

Just after the impact, Jaeger, his game partner or Caddy can be heard saying: “Have you ever seen something like that?”
“He exceeded it,” said a television analyst. “Complete completely.”
“He balances this club at around 120 mph and grabs the top of this ball … shocking,” replied his partner in the stand.

Unfortunately for Jaeger, the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open WinnerIts summit led to a Bogey at 17, dropping its final score for the opening round to three sous.
However, it left him just Four favorites Before Tour 2, with an eye on his victory for the second career. And during Friday round, Jaeger showed any sign that the summit had touched him negatively.
From the nine rear, he made three birdies on his first five holes. On the site of his embarrassing shot on Thursday, the par-4 17th, he lacé a journey of 297 yards to the right fairway, ending with a peer.
He sat down three shots with several holes to play to play in his second round.
