UCF head coach Scott Frost finalized its coache staff by hiring Mark of Onofrio as a coach of the Knights seconds.
From Onofrio, 55, was recently coach of the seconds in Stanford for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Before his visit to Stanford, of Onofrio led seconds to Wisconsin in 2022 and held the post of defensive coordinator at the temple from 2006 to 2010, Miami from 2011 to 2015 and Houston from 2017 to 2018. In addition, he worked As a coach assistant at Rutgers from 2001 to 2003 and in Virginia from 2004 to 2005.
De Onofrio played the secondary at Penn State and was then recovered by the Packers of Green Bay.
He has already had an impact on recruitment, helping to obtain a commitment from his compatriot from New Jersey Cole Kozlowski from Spring Lake.
