The WNBA had another case of sex toy thrown on the field during a match, after two incidents reported last week.

AST Wednesday, a sex toy landed near Sophie Cunningham of Indiana after being thrown from the stands of Los Angeles while the fever played the sparks.

The incident in Los Angeles occurred with 2:05 to do in the second quarter, with the object landing in the lane near Cunningham, which had expressed social media on fans who launched the toys on the ground.

The fever forward jumped out of surprise, then Kelsey Plum gave it a kick in the stands.

“I think it’s ridiculous, it’s stupid, it’s stupid,” said Sparks coach Lynne Roberts.

“It’s also dangerous, and players’ safety is number one. Respecting the game. All these things. I think it’s really stupid.”

Plum added that she thought the two teams had done an excellent job “play, do not pay her any attention”.

Arrest carried out after sex toys are thrown in court in separate WNBA incidents

The players succeeded in “disrespectful” treatment after two sex toys were launched on the field in separate incidents this week.

“The referees too, I really appreciate them too, it was like” hey, let’s go “,” said Plum.

Cunningham headed for the Sparks bench and laughed.

According to social networks, Green Toys was also launched in Phoenix and New York, but did not reach the court. That of the New York Barclays Center landed near a child.

A week ago, the first incident occurred in Atlanta at the end of the fourth quarter of the dream match against Golden State in College Park, Georgia. A fan was arrested, according to the WNBA, and was ejected from the arena and faced a minimum prohibition of one year.

Another sex toy was launched in Chicago on Friday under a basket after a whistle was blown to stop the game during the third quarter of the 73-66 victory from Golden State on the sky. An official has put the object aside before it was picked up and withdrawn.

We do not know if the fan who threw the object at the Sky game was arrested.

“The safety and well-being of all in our arenas are an absolute priority for our league. Objects of any type thrown on the field or in the lounge area may present a risk of security for players, game managers and fans,” the league said in a statement.

“In accordance with the safety standards of the WNBA Arena, any fan who intentionally throws an object in the court will be immediately ejected and will face a minimum prohibition of one year in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.”
