The Seahawks added depth to their secondary and a contributor to special teams.
Seattle signed the corner half of the free agent Shemar Jean-Charles, according to Jeremy Fowler d’Espn.
Last year, Jean-Charles played in nine games for the saints, starting two at the corner and also contributing to the special teams.
Jean-Charles was a choice of fifth round in 2021 of the packers who played two years in Green Bay and also played briefly for the 49ers. He played more in special teams than in defense in his career in the NFL, and the Seahawks hope to obtain contributions from him at the corner and on a kick.
