Much of the USC’s success on the recruitment path under Bowden can be attributed to its bonds in southern California. Bowden grew up watching the Trojan horses at their pete under Pete Carroll in the 2000s, and saw what the program looks like when it works at its peak.

In a recent episode of his show, “The Hard Count”, the football analyst of the ON3 college JD Pickell discussed the impact of the roots of the southern California of Bowden on the overvoltage of recruitment of the Trojans.

With Bowden at the helm, Trojan horses currently have the best classified recruitment class in the country for cycle 2026. Fans of the USC hope that a successful season on the field in 2025 will allow the program to maintain the class intact and build to be a candidate for the national championship in the future.
