The new post of the new post of Aneyas Williams remembers Orange Bowl’s victory for Notre Dame Football

South Bend-Aneyas Williams, Do-it-All Running Back for Our Lady Football does not have to worry about this spring to impress its new post coach.

Ja’juan Seider looked closely at the student’s talents in the second year when the Irish ended the season of Penn State in the Orange Back on January 9.

“Aneyas, for a young child, is simply solid,” said Seuid before spring training. “You look at him really playing the game and the way he attacks the blockage. He has elite ball skills. Tone of respect for him.”

In a period of two series against the former Seider team, Williams succeeded in six keys for 81 yards, with all people except one. After having made four captures on a 13 game march until Notre Dame de la Nuit, Williams returned after half to seize the journey of Touché on a tie.

Its 36 yards on a road route, a dynamic shoulder circus work, always make pain to discuss.

Kenny Minchey: Do not neglect the backup backup in the QB battle of Notre Dame Football

“We were in the man of defense, and I saw an intermediary secondary exhausting with him, and he caught a pass (almost) of 40 yards,” said Seider. “It was a large part of the game.”

During the following follow -up, Williams went up in the middle of 15 meters to the line of 4 yards of Penn State.

“The race was simply nice,” said Williams recently. “Just to finally take behind my pads and run the ball a little, just a little flow. Being able to do that and seeing the energy of the team pick up, it was a great thing for me.”

And the plug on a perfectly launched ball from Riley Leonard? It was supposed to be composed for Jeremiyah Love, but the starred runner obtained a break while playing through a MCL sprain in his right knee.

“The opportunity finally arose with J-Love being a little struck,” said Williams. “In fact, I had a (practice) representative of this game throughout the week – just one – so I knew it was there. I knew there was a chance. If my number was called, I was going to get the most out of it. ”

Williams completed his first year with 219 yards on the ground and an average of 6.4 yards which was stimulated by a touch of 58 yards against the army. As a receiver, the Hannibal product, MO., added 18 catches for 172 yards.

Having passed his jersey number from 20 to 22 years old, Williams hopes to imitate the leadership qualities of the former transfer of Penn State Devyn Ford. It was Ford’s number in the past two years with the Irish.

“Devyn Ford was a great vocal chief in our group, and I try to take this stage,” said Williams. “We have a lot of talented guys, (but) a slightly quieter group, many guys who just want to lower their heads and work. I’m trying to … be a leader in the room and keep the standard as it was. “
