The Stanley Cup was a topic of discussion on this week’s episode of The Hockey Show, but not for the reasons you might think.
No, we’re not discussing what the Cup did this summer, as we have done many times since. Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup Final in June.
This time we’re talking about a story THS co-host Roy Bellamy heard about the New York Rangers celebrating their championship in 1994 at a popular New York strip club.

As the story goes, they were so drunk that they forgot the Cup when they left!
Good times.
Another topic of this week’s episode concerned the six names and logos released for the six teams in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
We take a look at each of the logos and get Roy and Dave’s thoughts on them.
Also on this week’s show, we discuss the possibility of further NHL expansion, as well as the return of NHL players to the Olympics in 2026.
